As we get ready to say goodbye to 2017, we'd like to take this chance to say thank you for being part of another year of growth at Lordhair. This year we sold over 30,000 hair systems which is a 35% increase from last year. Our customers are scattered around the planet and we sold hair systems to people from over 100 countries and regions.

Our Lordhair team also continues to grow and we have managed to successfully mix work with play over the year. Be it on team building days or in the office as you can see from this photo from Christmas Day.

Before the year officially ends though, we would just like to share a few things that we've learnt from this year with you:

* Despite their ever-increasing popularity "hair system" is still a relatively unknown word for your average person. Wigs and toupees continue to be the more familiar words but as we discussed in a previous blog on different terminology, they can carry a bit of a negative connotation.

* We continue to understand the importance of maintaining a strong social media presence and we now post daily on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts. Then there is also our YouTube channel. Followers are on the up across all platforms.

* The role that a positive endorsement from someone with a social media following cannot be underestimated. We have seen a spike in interest from Mexico in our men's hair systems thanks to a certain couple of video reviews that you can see here. (Both have English subtitles.)

Conversely, looking into the new year, here are a few things you can expect from 2018:

* Our new and bigger factory is set to open in the spring. Remember that having our own factory is a major reason why we can offer you such competitive prices.

* Following on from the success of our Amazon shop, we are going to create another platform on which to sell our hair systems from so look out for our eBay shop which will open soon.

* We sell to people from all around the world and we want to accommodate our customers accordingly so that's why you'll soon see a Spanish version of our website.

There's no doubt that there'll be a lot more in store for us over the coming 12 months and it will all be to your benefit. So, stay tuned and keep following us here and on social media.
