How to Make Your Hair Sleek

Is your hair frizzy, dry and damaged? Are you eager to get rid of it? You probably want to have sleek, smooth, shiny hair, right? Try the following steps and you will be surprised by the result.

Use a good conditioner and shampoo. There are many shampoos and conditioners that will add moisture to your hair. Look for these kinds of shampoos and conditioners. When using them, don't skimp out! Use a good amount of shampoo. However, don't use too much conditioner, as it may make your hair greasy. Rinse your hair with cold water to lock in moisture.

Use detangler. After taking a shower/bath, use a detangler spray. This will help you take out the knots that are already in your hair, and help prevent new knots from occurring during the day. Spritz some detangler onto your hair, and comb your hair with a wide-tooth comb. Don't get impatient and yank at the knots and tangles. Stay calm and work them out slowly.

Air-dry your hair! This is such an easy step, but it is where most people destroy their hair. If you blow dry your hair, it might come out frizzy again. If you are going to blow-dry your hair, use a heat protectant on your hair. This will add extra moisture to your locks so that they don't get fried. When you're air-drying your hair, use a towel to wrap around your hair if needed.

Use a leave-in conditioner. Leave-in conditioners are great for people with dry hair. You can put them on damp hair, and they don't need to be washed out. Instead, they'll absorb into your hair during the day to add extra moisture!

When straightening or curling your hair, use caution. Use a quality hair straightener. Before straightening/curling, use a heat protectant. Then, divide your hair into small sections. Straighten/curl the sections slowly. The slower you go, the better it will be. Don't go too slow, however, as it will harm your hair cells.

Comb/brush your hair regularly! To ensure sleek locks, always brush/comb your hair in the morning and after a shower. This will remove all tangles and keep your hair smooth, soft, and luscious.

    Now how does it feel?
