Elate is the latest addition to our range of medical wigs for women. Combining practicality and realism, its intricate base design offers you everything you could wish for in a medical wig.
This is a very soft, comfortable wig to wear that will completely blend in with your own scalp thanks to the realism of French lace and its silk top. All the hair knots of the silk top are hidden between the layers of the silk top so the hair will look like it is growing directly from your scalp so you can create a great-looking parting for yourself. The very front of this medical wig has folded lace which is more durable than the rest of the lace used on the base but – together with the underhair – natural enough to create a hairline that you can reveal. Then, there is stretch mesh on the sides to guarantee a snug but comfy fit.
In terms of how you secure this wig to your head, the base has several features which make this task as simple as possible for you. Take the adjustable straps at the back which allow you to quickly and easily adjust the base size to fit your head. There are also anti-slip felt flaps on the temple areas so you can wear your wig safe in the knowledge that it will remain securely in place. Finally, there is a strip of thin skin across the front hairline. So, if you want the added reassurance of tape or glue then you have a very practical base material to apply them to.
